Challenge:
NetApp delivers one of the most comprehensive sales and channels training programs in technology. NetApp recognizes that equipping and injecting sales teams and channel partners with current information gives their business a strategic advantage. Facilitating that delivery and maintaining currency, however, presented NetApp with both technical and logistical challenges.
Solution:
Collaborating with the NetApp University team, Clarus devised, designed and coded a desktop application to organize and deliver core learning content as well as supporting presentation materials, collateral and multimedia assets. The resulting NetApp Learning Resource Center allows training users to:
- Manage resource packages and access topics from a single, easy to access interface
- Access documents, audio and video files directly from the simple user interface on their desktop
- Play audio and video files from within the Learning Resource Center application
- Launch the latest discussion threads, blogs and other content aligned with their topics of interest
- Be informed of updates to content
Result:
Now, NetApp training users have an organized means to access relevant information to topics of interest. They are assured that the content they are tapping is current and the selection is comprehensive. Using the latest information and web app technology is a key strategy for NetApp as they continue to set the highest standards in eLearning and sales support excellence.
